Young Adult Leadership Institute 2019
For young adults between 21 to 35 years old who are looking for meaningful opportunities to live out their faith and values at work, with their family and friends, and in the world. In the Leadership Institute, we will explore and develop a variety of leadership skills, including:
- Personal Strengths and Gifts
- Conflict Resolution
- Intercultural Competencies
All sessions, except the orientation and retreats, will be held at the Catholic Information Center in the Cathedral Square Building, at 360 Division Ave. S, Suite 2A, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.

Thursday, April 25: Orientation (6-8:30pm) An overview of the institute. Dinner provided.
May 10-11: Weekend Retreat (Called and Gifted) Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. Explore your call to holiness, assess your strengths & gifts, listen to God’s call in your heart.
Thursday, June 6: Seminar (5:30-8:30pm) Topic—Inter-cultural communications.
Thursday, June 27: Workshop (5:30-8:30pm) Topic—Networking
Thursday, July 11: Social with Catholic Leaders of For-profit and Non-profit Organizations (5:30-8:30pm) Network with key Catholic leaders of for-profit and non-profit organizations from the West Michigan area.
Thursday, August 1: Seminar (5:30-8:30pm) Topic—Conflict Resolution.
Thursday, August 22: Seminar (5:30-8:30pm) Topic—Fostering Communion within the Church
September 13-14: Weekend Retreat (Leadership= Clarity + Commitment) Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. Collaborate, build capacity, be inspired, make a difference for good.
