Travels with Saint Andrew

November 29, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Thursday, November 29, 7-8:30pm

with Fr. Michael Hennessy, CSP

Andrew the Apostle is the patron saint of fishermen, of Scotland, and of the Diocese of Grand Rapids. In this presentation–held on the Vigil of Saint Andrew’s feast day– we’ll learn about who this apostle was and what his legacy has become. We’ll then reflect on Andrew’s life; what we know about him from scripture and other sources. Yet his story doesn’t end there; we’ll then learn about the interesting travels of his relics across the centuries and how he became associated many countries and our own Cathedral.  CFD: Theology       ($10  donation requested.)
