The Resilience of Catholicism through the 14th Century: Overcoming Death, Dishonesty, and Division

July 18, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

With Paolo Puccini, CSP

After the intellectual triumphs of St. Thomas and St. Bonaventure in 13th Century, the devastating bubonic plague and divisions among leaders of the Church brought about unprecedented turmoil in the 14th Century. Yet early reformers and devout lay members of the Church continued striving for holiness through their faith in Christ. Join Paulist seminarian Paolo Puccini, for his last program at the CIC, as he explores how the challenges of the 14th Century led to renewed zeal for the faith, and how this moment in history can continue to inspire us today.  CFD: Evangelization
