It takes three types of intimacy for a marriage to flourish. Happily, these are also the basis for our three Catholic Christian marriage vows. In down to earth and sometimes humorous language, Dr. Healy will show how to live out these marriage vows more fully and completely.
James Healy, Ph.D. has spoken on marriage and family topics in over 90 dioceses across the United States as well as in Japan, England, and the Caribbean. He received his M.A. in the Social Sciences from the University of Chicago and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Illinois. From 1989 to 2019, Dr. Healy was the director of the Office of Family Ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Joliet, Illinois. Dr. Healy also served as an advisor to the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops’ Committee on Marriage and the Family. He and his wife Madonna have four adult children and two grandchildren.
